Bhupinder Singh Kooner was a member of the Khalistan movement, joining the Khalistan Liberation Force. Born in Punjab, he later moved to Canada, where he became active in Sikh youth organizations. Kooner dedicated his life to the Sikh cause, ultimately attaining martyrdom in a confrontation with Indian security forces (1984 Tribute) (BOL News).
